(01) The place
Week of real Atlantic sailing between Tenerife, La Gomera and La Palma. Trade winds, open-water passages and dramatic volcanic landscapes set the scene for sailing, discovery and teamwork. Take the helm, learn to read the wind, explore ancient forests above the clouds and follow trails across volcanic terrain. Between passages, there's time to swim, snorkel, cook together on board and discover local restaurants.

The Flow
We start and finish in Tenerife, with a passage to La Gomera inspired by the historic sailing route associated with Columbus. Between watches and time at the helm, we'll head ashore to hike through ancient laurel forests, climbing above the clouds. Next comes La Palma, where volcanic landscapes invite us to explore on foot. There's also the option to rent a couple of cars for a road trip through canyons and forests, with a mountain waterfall and trails across solidified lava along the way. Then it's back to sea for the return to Tenerife. The exact route follows the weather and the crew, as real sailing should.

Places
Tenerife brings an extraordinary mix of landscapes, from dry, almost Martian terrain to deep green forests and canyons, with Mount Teide rising above the coastline. La Gomera is all steep slopes, ancient laurel forests and trails that climb through the clouds. La Palma takes us closer to the volcanic character of the Canaries, with walks near the volcano, rugged terrain and an optional road trip through forests and canyons to a mountain waterfall and views of recently solidified lava.

Activities
Get involved in real sailing: take the helm, stand a watch, learn to read the wind and work the sails together. Drop anchor for a swim in bays reached by yacht, snorkel in clear water or explore coastal caves by dinghy. Ashore, hike volcanic trails and crater landscapes, trek through La Gomera's ancient forest and explore La Palma's canyons and lava fields. Back on board, share the cooking and look after meals as a crew, or head ashore for dinner in a local restaurant.

Yacht
Our home for the week is a monohull sailing yacht with four cabins and sleeping places for up to nine. There's space to gather in the cockpit, stretch out on deck or relax inside between passages. The salon has an equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer, cooker and oven, alongside hot and cold water and a generator. Life on board is shared: from helping with the sailing to preparing meals together, everyone can be part of the journey.
